Bridgette Sheri Jewelry: For The Everyday You
We are so excited to introduce Bridgette. She is sweet, intentional when she speaks with you, and unbelievably genuine! Her jewelry was being sold at Creative Communal in Huntington Beach and we were lucky to be placed next to each other. Hours later, we knew we would be supporting each other! Let’s get to know her! Read on to meet your new favorite jeweler:
Hi Bridgette, how can we connect with you? What is your business name, IG, and website:
Bridgette Sheri jewelry + @bridgettesherijewelry and my website is http://Bridgettesheri.com/shop
How did you come up with your shop name?
Sooooo not creative, just my first and middle name haha!
Sometimes that is the best because we can find your brand easily! What made you start your business?
I wanted to create jewelry that was affordable and quality. Gold filled jewelry is a great alternative to the less quality gold plated jewelry. Solid gold jewelry is often times very expensive so this is the perfect in between. All pieces are waterproof and sweat proof too!
Buying jewelry is always tricky because most people are looking for exactly that! Elevated quality, but still affordable. What was a fear you conquered by starting your business? Just starting! I was so scared that no one would purchase anything and on my release day I sold out of multiple pieces.
Wow congratulations! That is definitely a great start to kicking off a new business and so encouraging. How have you learned to manage your work for your business?
I try my best to set time aside every day. I’m a one woman show so I do the social media, making the jewelry, packaging, customer service. Some days I set time but others are random days! I do always keep a note open on my phone with future ideas so I can do a brain dump the second I think of it.
Do you listen to music to get you through your work days?
Oh very chill music. More like tropical EDM, Disclosure, that type of vibe.
Who doesn’t love some Disclosure to zone in, right? Creative burn out is horrible, how do you avoid it and keep yourself creatively refreshed?
Take a break! I’ll take a few days off or do a workout to help get the creative juices flowing again.
What was one of your favorite products you have released?
I love my zodiac necklaces. They’re technically three necklaces for the price of one. The zodiac charm is double sided and you can take the charm off to use just the chain as a necklace too.
That is so cute! Multi-functional jewelry pieces are so vital to ensure everyone can find something they love for any outfit and mood. What is something about your business that brings you joy?
Seeing people wear my jewelry! I love love love when my customers tag me on social media so I can see how they style their pieces.
That is also so important for UGC or user generated content to help you with posts and stories! It is amazing that customers can help your business in that way. Is there someone that helps you directly with your business?
Oh my fiancé is my cushion haha! Sometimes I’ll have him drop packages off and he’s my personal photographer. My close friends and my parents help out too. If I’m thinking of a new piece I can send it to them and get their honest feedback.
Is there a business dream you had in the beginning that you have reached as a first milestone that we could celebrate with you?
So when I launched I had no idea what my business would turn into. I hit $10k in sales last year and wanted to die because I didn’t even think I’d ever hit $1k!
That is incredible! We are so happy for you! What is a new goal you’ve set for 2021?
My goal for 2021 is to be more active on social media so I can get my name out there more.
How can we support you as the Pressed Wilde + Co. community?
Email sign ups, follow on social and just spreading the word! Sometimes the biggest support for a small business doesn’t even cost a dime. Sharing our profiles on social media for your friends to see is such a blessing.
Is there anything about your business that you would love for people to know?
There’s a million different jewelry shops out there but I felt that a lot of them were not affordable to the every day person. My slogan for my blog and jewelry is “for the everyday you” because I want everyone to be able to relate.
It is really important for people to find connectivity with brands they shop with and your transparency is refreshing! I met you at a pop up and you were so friendly. What have been your experiences with pop ups?
Pop ups are very encouraging because you’re putting yourself out there in person to complete strangers. It’s so rewarding to hear compliments and when they purchase!
Yes, and they are buying directly from you! Do you want to leave our readers with anything
If anyone has any questions let me know! Always available in my DMs on my personal @bridgettesheri or my jewelry @bridgettesherijewelry!
Till Next Time,
